Brush, nail clip, scent gland check and clean if needed, plus ears, hocks and skin check.

Short-hair full groom - $35
Short-hair groom + hygiene trim - $50

Hygiene trim covers the groin, back legs and tail where needed. Knots or mats (especially tail mats) may have an extra charge, depending on how difficult they are to remove.

Long-coat groom

Full body clip for long-haired rabbits - to keep them cool, comfortable and tangle-free. Includes nail clip, scent gland check and clean if needed, ears, hocks and skin check.

Long-coat full groom - $85

Coats are clipped back carefully. Hocks are checked for matting and teased out where possible, but never clipped - that's the only padding they have on their feet.

Matted long-coat groom

If your long-haired rabbit is already matted, book a long-coat groom and tell me when you book. I'll assess the coat before we start.

Matted coats may incur an extra charge, depending on how difficult the matting is to remove.

Flea / mite treatment (Revolution) is available if needed - $30.

Scent gland cleaning and moulting / coat management are included with the relevant grooms.

When a matted coat needs clipping, not brushing

Tight mats in a long-haired rabbit's coat are painful to pull apart. Rabbits have thin, delicate skin, and trying to brush or tease out bad matting at home often hurts them and can damage the bond you have with your bunny.

When the coat is badly matted, a careful full clip (shaving the coat short) is usually kinder than trying to detangle. It gets the weight and pull off their skin in one go, lets you see the skin underneath, and resets the coat so you can keep on top of it with regular clips instead of daily brushing battles.

I'll always:

• talk through the coat with you before we start
• work calmly, with breaks if your rabbit needs them
• stop rather than push past their comfort
• split a difficult groom into stages if that's safer
• flag anything that looks like it needs a rabbit-savvy vet

Nail trim

Safe nail clipping for guinea pigs - one of the most common reasons people look for a guinea pig groomer.

Nail clip + boar clean - $20

Short and full grooms

Standard groom - $45 - nail trim, ear check and clean if needed, hygiene / boar clean, and matt removal if needed.
Deluxe groom - $55 - as above, plus bath, shampoo and gentle blow dry.
Deluxe groom + mite rinse - $60
Deluxe groom + full trim - $65

Revolution (flea / mite) - $15.

Scent gland cleaning and boar cleaning are included with grooms.

Every rabbit and guinea pig is treated as an individual. Some are confident and relaxed; others are nervous, highly sensitive, or simply unsure about being handled.

Grooming is calm and paced around your pet. I use gentle, experienced handling, watch their body language, and allow breaks whenever needed. If a pet becomes too stressed to continue safely, I stop. Their wellbeing always comes before finishing the groom.
